Earlier in the year, reports of an upcoming partnership between Google, Intel and, TAG Heuer which would result in a high-end Android Wear smartwatch surfaced online.

Jean-Claude Biver, CEO of TAG, told American TV station CNBC yesterday that the company will be unveiling its new smartwatch at an event which will take place on November 9 in New York.

The watch will be known as the Carrera 01 and it will cost $1,800. When it is eventually launched, it will be the most expensive Android Wear watch yet, the closest being the $800 Huawei Watch.

Biver says he believes that the watch will do just fine in the market at its price point, citing how well similarly-priced Apple Watch have done over the past few month.

Little else is known about this watch, except that it will be powered by an Intel chip. Trust Pulse Tech to keep you updated.
