Agency plans to repair 103 roads, 10 bridges in 2016

Ferma, Federal Road Maintenance agency of Nigeria has revealed its plans to repair major economic roads linking to states, so as to minimize accidents.

The agency confirmed that the government plans to upgrade its status to a construction company stated that it would rehabilitate about 103 roads and 10 bridges across the country by the end of this year.

According to , Engr. Peter Odeh, FERMA Managing Director confirmed the reports and added that the government will focus more on economic viable roads across the nation based on their economic value to their locality.

The minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji fashola stated that FERMA needs to upgrade in other to construct and maintain roads.
