Until now, that is. Meet Pernell-Karl, aka P.K., Subban. Here's everything you need to know about him.
P.K. is a professional hockey player.
Currently, he plays for the New Jersey Devils, but has been played in the NHL for about 12 years. The Montreal Canadiens first drafted P.K. in 2007, and he went on to win a gold medal as part of Team Canada at the 2014 Olympics in Sochi.
He's also played as a defenseman for the Nashville Predators before getting traded to New Jersey's team this year. P.K. went all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals with the Predators, but the team lost to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
P.K. drinks a lot of water.
He told Fast Company that part of his pre-game routine includes drinking six liters of water. (That's around 202 ounces of H2O, whoa!) When he was younger, however, P.K. used to down nine espresso shots before a game. Now that he's 30, his caffeine intake is closer to a quarter cup of coffee or less.
He created the P.K. Subban Foundation in 2014.
The charitable organization raises money "to empower children and families by creating programs that support them during challenging times in their lives," according to its website .
In 2015, P.K. pledged to donate $10 million to the Montreal Children's Hospitalthe largest donation ever made by a Canadian athlete. "Were going to continue to be innovative and creative and were going to continue raising the bar in Montreal for what we believe people should strive for in terms of helping other people and building foundations," he told the Montreal Gazette .
In Nashville, P.K.'s worked with the Metro Nashville Police Department and the Nashville Predators Foundation to create Blue-line Buddies. This program connects underprivileged youth, low income families, and law enforcement.
P.K. owns more than 150 suits.
At least, that's the number of suits he told Sports Illustrated were in his closet back in 2018. He named Dior, Saint Laurent, Ralph Lauren, and Tom Ford as his favorite designers. "But I dont really shop at designer stores, only for certain things," he added to the publication. "I try to get stuff that no one else has." He and Lindsey appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated's Fashionable 50 issue and were noted as fashion icons.
P.K. also wears women's swimsuits.
Yep, one of his 150 "suits" just happens to be a string bikini, a style you'd probably expect Lindsey to wear instead. But no, P.K. shared a video of himself wearing an American flag-printed bikini to Instagram this past July 4th.
During another Independence Day, he and Lindsey wore the same U.S.A. one-piece in a hilarious "who wore it better" Instagram post.
