Meghan Markle just wore J.Crew boots and I need them ASAP
And on the royal tour of Australia, Meghan Markle has made it pretty clear that she has zero plans to do all that walking in uncomfortable shoes.
Earlier in the week, the Duchess of Sussex wore comfy Rothy’s flats, and Wednesday she ditched the stilettos again and wore heeled black boots while visiting Dubbo Senior College, which focuses on educating young Aboriginals and Torres Strait Islanders.
The boots are actually J.Crew’s Sadie ankle boots, according to Footwear News, and they’re currently in stock (for now...you know how these things go).
The boots come in black suede, and they have a 2.5-inch block heel (the optimum height for a comfortable heel!) with a cute ankle zipper detail. They’re lined with leather, and J.Crew swears they’ll become your new everyday boots.
Unfortunately, Meghan had to deal with a surprise rainstorm-in suede boots, OMG-but Prince Harry had her back with an oversized umbrella. And honestly, the boots looked like they held up pretty well, despite the downpour.
If you love the boots, but $178 is a little out of your price range, check out these similar picks (all with that sweet free two-day shipping from Amazon Prime):
