Dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, a.k.a. Dr. Pimple Popper didn't have to hang a "gone fishing" sign on her practice door when she caught a few fish over the weekend. The doc found the fish in a few mysterious pimples.
In her latest Instagram videos, Dr. Pimple Popper squeezed out some seriously wild things. She gets the popping party started with her descriptive captions: "A POP like a prehistoric fish!" and "Playing fish and hook with this one!" I have yet to see Dr. Pimple Popper go fishing, so this is going to be satisfying. Get excited folks!
Dr. Pimple Popper gets right to work in the first video. She's already set to squeeze, but she needs to be careful so it doesn't burst. She gently coaxes the cyst out of the opening in the skin. She tells her patient as she works, "I think it's going to be bigger under there." Dr. Pimple Popper is right.
When the dark green ball emerges on the surface, Dr. Pimple Popper says, "It's quite a cute one." Hmm, that's an interesting way to look at it. Dr. Pimple Popper's fans had some other thoughts. One Popaholic shared, "Looks like a scene from alien." Another fan commented, "Whoa! I think I heard it crying as it came out!"
Dr. Pimple Popper's next quick clip is equally wild. This pop is right on her patient's cheek, so it is front and center. There's no missing this bump, which requires a more technical popping strategy. Dr. Pimple Popper inserts a "suspension stitch" to get started. She puts the stitch right on the cyst and ties it off tight.
Then, she holds onto the thread of the stitch and trims around the cyst with her scissors. A few snips later and the entire cyst is dangling from the string. One fan commented, "Wow that's neat." It sure is. "That was PERFECTION!! I'd rather watch this than football."
It looks like Dr. Pimple Popper's fishing skills are just as good as her popping skills. She fished her way to two seriously satisfying pops.
