The song, a 1961 classic by Ben E. King, was performed following Bishop Michael Bruce Curry's address at St. George's Chapel in Windsor.

In a moment that should forever be remembered as one of the most breathtaking things to happen at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding, Karen Gibson led the all-black choir to a performance that  being hailed as "an incredible and powerful moment at the royal wedding," according to Esquire.

People are also talking about the performance on Twitter. Lily Herman on the social media page thinks the performance makes Harry and Meghan's wedding the best wedding ever.

She tweets: '"We've got a Black gospel choir singing "Stand By Me" by . Y'all, best goddamn wedding ever. #RoyalWedding"
