The Superstars Play for Life is a yearly event held to commemorate World AIDS Day and most importantly increase awareness about HIV/AIDS and draw attention to the stigma and discrimination of people living with HIV/AIDS. The event witnessed an array of entertainers and ex super eagles gathered to lend their voice to this issue.

Nigeria’s fast rising comedian and MC, Yellowmouth was one of the stars who participated in the 2014 ‘Superstars Play for Life’ novelty football match held on Saturday, December 6th, 2014. The event which has played host to countles Nigerian superstars drawn from entertainment and sports saw the like of Segun Arinze, M.I Abaga, Austin Jay Jay Okocha, Sexy Steel, Nonso Diobi, Celestine and Emmanuel Babayaro, Kanu Nwankwo, Afeez Oyetoro(aka Saka), Sound Sultan alongside Mc Yellowmouth and others grace this year’s event.
MC Yellowmouth has taken part in the event consecutively for the past three year, and he teams up with fellow entertainers who face the footballing stars, though, as always the match this year ended with total victory to the super eagles while the highlight of the match was SAKA lifting the ball with his hands in a desperate attempt to at least score a goal.
