Jesse Jagz , Falz, Simi, Fefe ,Tonye Garrick, others to perform at Easter Edition

The event is slated to start at 12 PM and vendors would set up stands with a wide variety of grill and barbecue. Official vendors for the 2016 Lagos Grill Festival include: Grills in and out, Islander Bbq, Sean Barbecue, Grind Grill, Lala’s Grill, Kmac Grill, Delicioso Mobile Chefs, Ginger Topas & Grill, Roadstar burgers, Ready Steady bbq, Zee3three bbq, buctchers bbq, Urban Fuxion and more.

Entertainment will be top notch as the intensity will be at an all time high throughout the duration of the event. Artists scheduled to hit the stage include: Jesse Jagz , Eclipse, Attitude, Fefe , classiq , Kach , Tonye Garrick, Attitude ,YungL, Simi, Emmebangz and Falz- who returns as the host of the event after a show-stopping performance at the maiden edition. Dance by balamous dance team and Music by Dj Obi.

“We have put together a once in a lifetime experience for Lagosians and even tourists to come and bask in, and savour a real, exquisite feast of flavours. We paid attention to detail, and improved on the last edition and I strongly believe we have a show-stopper on our hands. I can’t wait for everyone to witness what we have lined up for Easter Sunday the 27 of March 2016.’’

Francis Ebie, Chief Coordinator of the event, says monitoring and observing the different ways the barbecue festivals are done in different countries of the world, and implementing the best experience, infusing it with our own culture and ways of doing things will make this year’s event even better. One of our major objectives is to nurture this event to international standard, considering the huge tourism potentials this event can attract to the host cities.

Muri Okunola Park, Victoria Island will be transformed into a summer style festival with gazebos, comfortable seating areas, cocktail tables and a big stage for the performances. The entertainment host, Falz will surely keep people entertained and keep the momentum going during entertainment intervals with his witty personality and endless jokes. You sure are in for a treat.

A section of the park will be for the kids with interactive games, bouncy castles, rides, video games, arts & craft and play pens. Parents can also register their kids for the kids grill master class by Grill Master Grind (please follow @grillmastergrind on Instagram for more information)

Adults will not be left out this year, games include who can eat the hottest wings and fastest burger eater contests. The winners of these contests will go home with great prizes courtesy of the sponsors and organizers which include- Jack Daniels

The Lagos grill and bbq festival supports the Ayabime Okpoh Sicklecell foundation, a NGO that supports people with sicklecell, raising awareness and providing free Medicare for the less privileged sickle cell warriors in Nigeria. There will also be free genotype tests conducted by the foundation at the venue
