It was indeed a night of fun, pomp, glints, fireworks and one that has never been experienced in Lagos before as over 200,000 Lagosians witnessed the beautiful and memorable entrance into the 2015 in this year’s Lagos Countdown.This year’s event, tagged : “A Night like Never Before”, met up to the pre-event billings as over 20 A-list artistes stole the show in front of staggering audience of over 200,000. Amongst the artistes that performed for the night were 2 Face, Olamide , D’Banj, Omawunmi, Patoranking amongst others.One of the most beautiful highlights of the night was an avalanche of orchestrated and synchronized Fireworks to mark the entrance into the New Year - it was truly a festival of light.Among the top dignitaries in attendance for this event was the Gov. of Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, others were: Mallam Aliko Dangote, Mr. Femi Otedola; Chairman of LASAA, Mr. George Noah and Lagos State Gubernatorial candidate for the All Progressive Congress, APC, Mr. Ambode Akinwunmi.Check out the facebook and twitter account @lagoscountdown to see more pictures from the event.The Lagos Countdown is a Lagos state project under the auspices of Lagos State Signage and Advertising Agency, LASAA.
