In light of the gender equality talks recently in Nigeria, a new study has shown an area of difference between the genders: sleep. See which gender needs more sleep to function efficiently.
Researchers at the Loughborough University Sleep Research Center in England just revealed that women need more sleep than men to function optimally.
However, that’s not all. The real gist is in the reason why, which is that the female brain actually works a lot more than guys’, which results in more recovering period.
According to researchers, women’s brains are more intricate, making them great multi taskers endowed with the capacity to react dynamically to evolving situations. The only issue is that a lack of sleep can be detrimental to their well-being.
