Man, 23, commits suicide by hanging at the second attempt

A man in FESTAC has committed suicide by hanging from a ceiling in his family's apartment

 

Ugochukwu, 23, was on Sunday found hanging in his apartment in Festac when his mother and two siblings returned from Church.

The mother, Ngozi, and her children quickly raised an alarm, bringing all the neighbours to the scene. The case, which saw the young man hang himself from the ceiling, was transferred to FESTAC Police Division.

According to a Police source, the deceased did not give any clues as to why he took his own life.
