Man 'Kills Wife' Over Cassava Farm in Anambra

A man in Anambra is said to have killed his estranged wife over a cassava farm

The police in Anambra have arrested a man who allegedly killed his wife over a cassava farm.

Leadership Newspaper reports that the unidentified suspect took the deceased, who he had divorced, to the farm and when he was done sharing it, he allegedly killed her.

The police in the area have confirmed the incident but an officer reportedly said that the man is only under suspicion for the crime.

He said:

“He is being charged of suspected murder for now because he has claimed that someone else killed her late divorced wife and not him as alleged.”
