A 45-year-old woman, Nkulumenna Owefa, who seduced her teenage son to sleep with her by offering him the sum of N50,000, has had her marriage of 18 years nullified by an Asaba Grade ‘A’ Customary Court sitting in Delta State, after her husband had dragged her to seek a divorce over the shameful act, reports Punch Newspaper.
18-yr-old marriage dissolved over mother's sex with son
A woman who seduced her son to sleep with her has had her marriage annulled.
According to the distraught husband, the woman, a trader at the Ogbeonogonogo market in Asaba, had lured her son to a hotel in Abagana, Anambra State, where she drugged him before having sex with him and thereafter gave him the money.
Narrating the incident, the boy who testified in the court, said his mother had told him to accompany her to Onitsha to meet with a customer but after she had finished the discussions, instead of driving them back home, she went to a hotel and booked a room. Once inside, she gave him a bottle of soft drink after which he lost his senses and she pulled down his trousers and had sex with him.
“On our way to Abagana, somewhere around Toll Gate in Asaba, we were held up in traffic; I was with mum in her car and the glasses were wound up as the AC was on.
So our conversation was not being heard by hawkers going about with their wares or other motorists.
My mum told me that she was going to take over me as my father has taken over my sister and I thanked her, not knowing what she was up to.
In Abagana, after a lengthy discussion with her friend, we retired into the hotel room, where my mum gave me a bottle of coke already opened and I felt weak when she now undressed me before putting my dick into her private part,” the boy said.
The father also told the court:
“All I need is the dissolution of this marriage. My wife has committed the worst abomination and the only forgiveness I have for her is the dissolution of the marriage. My son remains my son because I know he was not seduced with ordinary hand.”
The woman, however, reportedly told the court that her husband was sleeping with their daughter, hence her decision to sleep with the son, urging the court to annul the marriage.
The Senior Magistrate, Silvester Oboh, after listened to both parties, granted the dissolution of the marriage, giving custody of the two grown children to the father.
