Neighbour who raped 4-yr-old girl, arrested

The Nigerian police, Lagos command have arrested one Bassey Johnson for the rape of a 4-year-old girl.

 

The victim whose name had been withheld suffered the cruel experience in the compound she and her family shares with the suspect in Idimu, Alimosho Local Government area of the state.

According to the reports, the child had followed her older brother to their neighbour's apartment to watch TV but slept off after a few minutes.

The suspect reportedly took advantage of the little girl while she slept after her brother left her in the room about one hour later.

The suspect is currently being held in police custody as further investigations are carried out.
