The lingering fuel scarcity in the country is gradually turning into a disaster for some families who have had to contend with preventable loss of lives.

A twitter user, Tunde Aluko MFR, took to the social media to announce the demise of a young woman who bled to death during childbirth because the hospital where she put to bed said they did not have fuel in their generating sets and in their vehicles to run around and get blood that could be transfused into her.

See what he tweeted:

"A church member lost his wife early hrs of today after child birth, she bled to death, useless hospital said no FUEL to rush to get blood.

Young man, early 30's, 2 young children already plus a baby now, wife is dead because FUEL, who bleeds to death in 2015?"
