SA police slam 22 sex assault charges on Pastor Tim Omotosho
A Nigerian pastor based in South Africa has been slammed with 22 charges following his arrest for sexually assaulting his female church members.
Sun Daily reports that the initial two count charges slammed on the 58-year-old Rev. Omotosho, who is the founder of Jesus Dominion International Church based in Durban, were amended after more women came out to claim he had also had sex with them.
Rev. Omotosho who is described as a very popular televangelist in that country was arrested at the Port Elizabeth Airport on April 21, 2017, after he was initially declared wanted by the police after he absconded when the news of the sexual assaults broke.
It was gathered that 18 more women came out to report that Rev. Omotosho also had sex with them after 30 females, mostly underaged girls, had come out to say he had been sleeping with them.
He had allegedly handpicked the girls from the church and instructed them to live in his house where they were forced to have unprotected sex with him.
