Things to know about the 2016 edition

The ceremony will recognise the best recordings, compositions and artists of the eligibility year, which will run from October 1, 2014, to September 30, 2015

Grammy Awards

Come Monday, February 15 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, the 2016 Grammy Award shall be upon us with a pack of entertaining moments to share and an list of awesome performances.

This year's award will be hosted by LL Cool J who is a two time winner himself for "Mama Said Knock You Out" in 1992 and "Hey Lover" in 1997.

The actor and rapper will be returning to host the event for the fifth successive time.

Kendrick Lamar leads this year's nominations with 11 nods, while Drake and Taylor Swift , who are both on seven, are hoping to add to their already packed award cabinets with more Grammy statues.

Adele, The Weeknd and Justin Bieber are all confirmed to take to the stage in the night.
