Woman names dog after information minister

The naming of the pet is coming 72 hours after a man was arrested by the police for calling his dog Buhari.

This is coming 72 hours after a man named Joe Fortemose ‎Chinakwe, was detained by the police for naming his dog after President Muhammadu Buhari.

According to Daily Post, Ogbonna commented that she does not understand what the fuss is all about following the arrest of Chinakwe, who was reported to the police.

She posted her comment via Facebook on Thursday, August 18, 2016, where she wrote, “I named it after someone I admired. I wonder why that other man got arrested for naming his dog after a look alike, na wa o.”

Meanwhile, Chinakwe has been released by the police following an intervention by the Serkin Hausa and President-General of non indigenes in Ogun state, Daily Post reports.
