Kidnapping Police nabs four suspects in Bauchi

The suspects are to be charged to court as soon as the investigation of the case is concluded.

Four suspects kidnappers have been arrested by the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the Bauchi State Police Command.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Haruna Mohammed, in the Darazo, Bununu and Kundan areas of Bauchi.

The suspects arrested are Samaila Mohammed, 20; Ibrahim Musa, 20; Sani Mohammed, 22; Abubakar Ahmed, 22.

Mohammed gave a statement of the arrest saying, “The exhibits recovered so far are two fabricated revolvers, long range guns, one revolver pistol with six rounds of 0.9mm ammunition, 13 rounds of 5.56mm live ammunition, and one round of 7.62 mm ammunition."

"All the suspects have confessed to  kidnappings and armed robberies.”

The case is now under intense investigation, and the suspects are expected to charged to court soon.
