The terrorist onslaught on Borno state does not seem to be abating as yet more villagers are said to have died in an attack today.
Boko Haram burns 3 churches, kills many in Borno community
Another community in Borno has been besieged by members of the Boko Haram sect who went on a rampage in the early hours of today.
Members of the dreaded Boko Haram sect were said to have trooped out of their Sambisa forest stronghold to attack the residents of Dille Village in the Askira-Uba Local Government Area of the state.
The assailants left a trail of destruction in their wake as they burnt buildings, including three churches, and shot at innocent members of the community.
The attack reportedly occurred at about 6am this morning and the insurgents were said to be heavily armed.
Security officials are said to have been deployed to the area and the exact number of casulaties is not yet known.
