Sisters who were declared missing found safe in a Farm 2 years after
Two sisters who were missing for more than two years have been found safe on a farm.
US Marshals searched the farm in hopes of finding evidence about the missing teens, but instead found the girls "safe and in seemingly good health", Lakeville police said.
The sisters were last seen in April 2013 shortly before they ran away from home during a bitter custody dispute between their parents, the Star Tribune reported.
Authorities said their mother, Sandra Grazzini-Rucki, helped the girls run away after she brainwashed them into believing their father was abusive.
In November 2013, a judge granted David Rucki full custody of his daughters after ruling there was no evidence of abuse.
The mother has since being arrested and she faces multiple felony counts of deprivation of parental rights and is being held on $1m (200 Million Naira) bail.
The White Horse Ranch where the sisters were found bills itself online as a non-profit, faith-based organisation that works with abused children.
The farm is located about 185 miles (298km) northwest of their suburban Minneapolis home.
