A new born baby has been abandoned by its mother in a filling station in Katsina State.
The abandoned baby
The baby was found wrapped in a blanket and placed at the back of the filling station and according to eyewitnesses, it could have been dumped there by its mother.

The baby was later evacuated by the police which handed it to a welfare unit.
