It was a happy reunion for a 24-year-old man, Erik de Vries and 22-year-old Josephine Egberts, as they realised that they were blood relations when they met and started a relationship on a dating website, Tinder.
Couple who met on a dating start shocked to realised they are siblings
A couple who met and started dating on a social media site later found out that they are brother and sister.
Vries, from Holland, told Metro UK that as they chatted every other day and got to know more about each other's background, weird revelations began to tumble out and before long, he realised that Egberts was his long lost sister.
Vries and his other sibling, Maarten who is actually Egberts twin brother, had not set eyes on Egberts for 16 years since their parents separated and he and Erik and his brother moved to Belgium while Egberts stayed back with their father in Holland.
When Erik decided to return to Holland earlier this year, he used Tinder to find love. Erik and Josephine got along well at first, but after learning details about her past, he began to be uncomfortable.
When Josephine said that she lost contact with her twin brothers Maarten, Erik knew that she was indeed his sister.
After more conversation, they found out that they were brother and sister. The siblings were overjoyed to meet each other in person after net seeing each other for 16 years.
