'My husband is a thief' - Woman tells divorce court

A divorce seeking woman has told a court that her husband is a thief.

A broken egg is like a broken marriage

A woman seeking a divorce at a Customary Court sitting in Agboyi-Ketu, Lagos, shocked the court when she narrated that her husband is a thief who stole her money and other people's property at will, reports Tribune.

The woman, Amaka Mbadihe, also told the court presided over by Mr O.T Williams, that her husband of 17 years, Jonathan, did not only steal her money but did not care for the family financially and physically, threatens her life, and had also abducted their 16-year-old daughter to an unknown destination for over six years.

“ I have not seen my daughter since she was 10 years. She is my only daughter, I don’t know what’s happening to her; I don’t know where he kept her; I don’t know what she looks like now. She is a girl,  she needs me,” the woman told the court.
