A security guard employed by a Lagos State based businessman, John Malam, has been arrested by for allegedly conniving with his partner and others at large to burgle his boss’ warehouse on Alexander Road, Ikoyi, where they carted away 61 air conditioners valued at N15m from the warehouse and later sold the new air conditioners for N25,000 each, and shared the proceed.

It was gathered that the Borno State indigene had approached one of the suspects who is now at large, identified only as Andrew, and told him that he wanted to travel, but did not have money.

After discussions with the said Andrew to assist him to get a buyer for his motorcycle to raise funds for the journey, Andrew reportedly discouraged him against selling the motorcycle, advising him to steal his boss' property instead.

After being convinced, acquainted the other guard with the plan to which he readily agreed and on January 17, around 1.30am, the suspects broke into the store and removed 61 ACs.
