Grieving lady is inconsolable at mum's graveside

A woman who lost her mother after a tough battle with cancer can't seem to let go.

Blessyn Jackson has been inconsolable after her mother's death

A Nigerian lady who flew into the country for the burial of her mother from her base in the United States of America, is finding it very difficult to let go as she goes to the grave of her late mother every other day to cry and grieve about her demise.

Blessyn Jackson, a media personality who runs a television programme in the US, Blessyn Jackson Show, posted a photo of her wailing and rolling on her mother's grave and said she has now lost the last person she was living for after she had earlier lost her father, a brother and a sister.

Her mother reportedly died after a long battle with cancer after the family had spent so much money to keep her alive.

This is what Jackson posted on her Instagram page:

"Leaving my Mom's grave was the toughest thing I ever did... She was buried by my window and being in Nigeria made me feel close to her.

So before taking my flight back to Atlanta, I went to say goodbye to my late mom and my little sister took this pic of me...

It's been an emotional ride this year but I am back stronger now than ever cos what doesn't kill me makes me stronger."

However, many Nigerians who saw the picture on social media platforms think she is using her late mother to seek for fame and have come out to condemn her, something she has taken exception to with the following words:

"When I was looking for money to save her from cancer, begging for donations, no one said it was for fame. This is my mom for Christ's sake!

I posted the pic cos after God, she's next to me. I lost my father, my mother, my brother and my sister and people think I posted a pic of me mourning for fame. What is wrong with you people?

Don't tell me how, where or when to mourn. My mom is my very existence. I could die for her. I gave my all to save her.

I went through a tough battle and I wish I could exchange every wealth I have for her life. I haven't worked for almost three months since she died cos my life has paused.

That's how deeply this has affected me and people say I asked my sister to take a pic of me to become popular."

"May God forgive you all cos you cannot fathom the pain and grieve I am in. You don't know what it is like to be the only one left with your sister. To watch your mom die of cancer after doing everything."
