Born Damini Ogulu on the 2 of July 1991 is a Nigerian artist and brand ambassador. He was born to parents, and the grandson of Benson Idons; late fela Kuti’s manager which comes as no surprise as Fela is one of his major inspirations. Burna is the only son and has two younger sisters

His secondary school years were spent in the prestigious Corona secondary school; he went off to the United Kingdom for university but opted out to pursue music. His entry into the Nigerian music industry began when he released hit track ‘Like to Party’ in 2010.

Best known For: He is popular for his love for Fela, as he even tripped down to his briefs during a stage performance just like the Afro beat legend. Burna whose style icon is Jamaican artist Shabba Ranks made retro-vintage items such as sunglasses and paisley printed shirts cool again.

Burna is signed on Aristokrat records and is popular for his Patois lyrical style and numerous tattoos. After the release of his debut album he put out 2 mix tapes, Burn Notice and Burn Identity He is currently promoting his album L.I.F.E (Leaving an Impact For Eternity).

Burna is known to have quite a temper and did nothing to hide it when he stormed out of the 2013 Hip hop awards when he didn’t get the ‘Next rated award’ he hoped to win.
