Rev. Okotie, a former music star who is also the leader and presidential candidate of the party, is not happy that despite the fact that a FederalHigh court in Abuja, the nation’s capital, had rule that INEC should re-register his party after it was de-registered, the election body has refused to comply with the court directives.
Rev. Chris Okotie Says Trouble Will Brew If He Does Not Contest
The , has warned that the IndependentNationalElectionsCommission, INEC, is playing with fire if his party, FreshDemocraticParty, FDP, is denied the chance of contesting for the 2015 presidential elections.
Okotie, who has insisted that God told him to contest every election, therefore told INEC that if he is not allowed to run, then there will be trouble in country.
We pray INEC should do the right thing on God’s anointed so that the wrath of God does not fall on Nigeria.
