The minister decried the manner in which some some of the schools were left porous, without perimeter fencing with large population of students and pupils in spite of the security challenge the nation faces.

He maintained that lives and properties should be well secured in the FCT.

During this press briefing, Bello also lamented the poor performance of students in the WAEC and NECO examinations in the Territory, and insisted that the situation must be reversed.

Malam Bello assured that henceforth, the FCT Administration would give priority attention to the proper and regular feeding of students; ensure adequate water supply, cleanliness of the environment and security of all schools in the Territory.
