Quadruplets just got accepted into the Ivy League

Four boys. Four genius. Can things get any more fantastic than this?

These brothers from Ohio didn't just get accepted into these Ivy League schools, they got accepted into other universities.

Take Aaron for example. He got accepted Brown University and University of Pennsylvania.

What is the Ivy League though?

It's a group of eight old, distinguished colleges and universities in the East, and are generally regarded as the best schools in the United States of America. The members of the Ivy League are Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Harvard, Princeton, and Yale Universities; Dartmouth College; and the University of Pennsylvania.

Lakota East High School Principal Suzanna Davis, said:

“I have had the honor of knowing these boys since they were young because of knowing their mom and dad. I have watched these boys grow up into young men … and as students they epitomize what we would want from high school students.”

Then, onto the Genius kids problems.

One problem kids like these have is having to choose which school to go. Remember Ifeoma? The girl who got accepted into all 8 Ivy League schools? She has the dilemma of choice too. According to The Washington Post though, Aaron likes Stanford University. The other three guys will most likely choose Yale though.

But how did they get so excellent?

We have to first admit that the smart run in the family. Their father, Darrin Wade, is a Software Architect at General Electric. Their mother on the other hand, Kim Wade, is the Principal of Lakota Plains Junior School. But their parents didn't stop there.

Their father would punish them for for little offences with push-ups, sit-ups, and runs. Their mother, on the other hand, made them do word puzzles, memorize math tables and write book reports at home from a young age.

“It wasn’t a choice to be average,” said their father .

What do the boys have to say about all of these?

Nick said:

“We’re grateful to our parents and the Lakota school district because it’s really something we couldn’t have done on our own without all the support we have had through our lives. It has been awesome.”

Nigel said:

“It’s really our parents our friends and our community who have come together and taught us how to be disciplined. We feel like getting into these schools show who the people around us are.”

Zachary agrees, and even nodded in agreement as he said:

“There has never been a time in our life whenever we said something (career goals) they said ‘oh that’s a big goal’. They said ‘I know you guys can do it. You guys are hard workers and the sky’s the limit.’”

Clearly, a lot of work in this success is because of the parents. This is a success story for every parent who has tried hard to put in work for their kids academically.

You all are the best.
