Ekiti NYSC member who died in service buried in uniform

A female member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) who died while serving in Ekiti State, Emaeyak Uwem, has been buried.

A female member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) who died while serving in Ekiti State, Emaeyak Uwem, has been buried.

Student Pulse gathered that Uwem was a graduate of Heritage Polytechnic, Eket, Akwa Ibom State, where she studied Business Administration.

She had been posted to Ekiti state for the compulsory one-year national service but died in undisclosed circumstances.

According to Naij, she was buried in her NYSC kit.

The burial ceremony was well attended by fellow corps members.
