Most of them escaped with nothing but the clothes on their backs
For some it was a two, three, or even four-day journey to the refugee camp and most of them escaped with nothing but the clothes on their backs.
In an interview with CBN news, one of the survivors said: "When they [ISIS terrorists] came, they caught some people and kidnapped beautiful girls and took them away."
Another survivor, Fluce Khadr Anun, said she used a cap from a medicine bottle to keep her children alive; "I gave my children a drop of water every hour. The water was very far away."
Twelve-year-old boys, like Tasim and Rezyen, saw things that are likely to haunt them for the rest of their lives.
another refugee told CBN News.
They are calling on the West and the US government to help them.
