Pastor Adeboye, Osinbajo pray for kidnapped school children
During the Special Holy Ghost Service, the RCCG G.O took some time to have prayers for the abducted girls.
Recently, 110 girls were abducted from the Government Girls Science and Technical College in Dapchi, Yobe state by suspected Boko Haram militants.
Vanguard reports that General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, led prayers on the behalf of the girls.
He was joined by the VP, his wife, Archbishop John Osa-Oni, Prophet Isa El Buba, foreign dignitaries and the members.
Pastor Adeboye decreed: “Every kidnapper in this country by whatever name they are called, please set them on fire right now in the name of Jesus.”
The second round was led by his wife, Pastor Mrs. Folu Adeboye. Both times, the prayers were followed by loud cries from the crowd as people prayed that the girls would be found soon.
These prayers were held at the Special Holy Ghost Service, themed: “Stronger than your enemies 3.”
On Dapchi Girls
On Monday, February 19, 2018, terrorists raided the government girls secondary school in Dapchi, Yobe State.
During the attack, 110 schoolgirls were taken to the dismay of their parents.
President Muhammadu Buhari has promised to do everything in his power to rescue the girls.
“They (freed captives) told me that they had given up all hope of ever coming back alive. I assured them that we will never give up on any of our citizens.
“I have asked the security agencies to ensure that every abducted person — including the Dapchi girls — is safely released”, he said.
Buhari made this promise while hosting the freed lecturers of the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID).
