In an interview with a PUNCH correspondent in Kaduna, the Public Relations Officer, Rev.  John Hayab, called on the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government to handle this situation.

He also advised Nigerians to co-operate with the current administration, in order to solve these issues.

"We feel strongly that there is never a time in Nigeria that we need to join hands to unite with all sections of the country to address the challenges of Nigeria. Nigerians are suffering. There is hunger all over the country. There are pains everywhere", Hayab added.

He was supported by the Vice President of CAN, Elder Joseph Otubu, who made a similar appeal.

According to Information Nigeria, he said: "the President is working very hard for the good of all."

"We must not confess negatively for this country, because all over the world people are experiencing economic punch, so Nigeria is not an exception.

Let’s continue to pray for the best, for our political leaders to be honest so that the money that is meant for the masses will be spent for the masses”, he added.
