PDP candidate assures Muslims of resolving hijab issue

The governorship candidate accompanied by his deputy, Safurat Abdulkareem, were hosted by the Muslim community

Lagos state governorship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Jimi Agbaje has to promised to settle the issue of allowing Muslim children to wear the hijab to school, if elected into office.

Agbaje said this during an interaction with the Muslim community in Lagos on Wednesday, January 15.

The governorship candidate accompanied by his deputy, Safurat Abdulkareem, were hosted by the Muslim community, including the National Missioner of the Ansar-ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, Sheik Abdurahman Ahmad.

Agbaje assured his Muslim hosts that the hijab issue would be solved through a synergy between the state and the mosque.
