Commissioner of Police seeks divine help
Abdulmajid Ali has approached General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye to strengthen the force.
According to Punch, Ali expressed his appreciation to Adeboye during a visit to him where he discussed the security issues in and around the church’s Redemption Camp on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, which hosts thousands of worshippers on a daily basis. The CP also thanked the man of God for his support of the police command.
During the visit, Ali states, "We commend for the support being given to the command. Let me use this opportunity to seek your (Adeboye’s) prayers as we handle security issues in the camp and the state at large.
“I also urge other well-meaning individuals to emulate the general overseer in assisting the police command in all ramifications to discharge its duties efficiently.”
It was reported that after all issues were discussed, Adeboye prayed for the CP and the Police command in general. He prayed for peace in the state and in Nigeria.
Adeboye promised to continue to pray for peace and will also be doing all he can to assist the Police command in Ogun state.
