American Pastor warns Christians about religious significance of July 27, 2018.

According to the Doomsday preacher named Paul Begley, the coming Blood Moon eclipse could be the beginning of the end of the world, Express reports.

His warning is based on the fact that the eclipse was foretold by the Bible in the Book of Revelation, the Book of Joel and the Book of Acts.

In his words, "July 27 is not the end of the world, I repeat, July 27 is not the end of the world.

"But it is a sign of the end times because you already are in the end times. You can't deny that.

"There are way too many prophecies in play here, so that's fact. We're in the end times. But the Blood Moon is definitely a prophetic sign."

Speaking to his audience in his latest online video above, Mr. Begley offered some analysis of the Blood Moon and what it represents.

He said: "It's a long Blood Moon - the longest of the century. It just so happens to be the 70th year of Israel as a nation and it just so happens to be the year Jerusalem was proclaimed the capital of Israel and the eternal city of God, which the Bible says in Psalms Chapter 48.

"It also just so happens to happen the very night Mars will be at its closest to proximity to Earth in 15 years and the second closest ever approach to the Earth in 60,000 years. Are we talking astronomy or are we talking Biblical prophecy?"

Blood Moon Prophecy in the Bible

There are at least three Biblical books that say that a blood-red moon is one of the signs of the end times. These are Revelations, Joel and the Book of Acts.

According to Joel 2:31, "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come."

Revelation 6:12 adds, "And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood."

Despite assurances from astronomers that the Blood Moon is just a natural occurrence which occurs twice a year, the preacher insists that it "is definitely a prophetic sign."
