In order to ensure a trouble-free Eid-el-Fitr celebration, the Inspector-General of Police, Solomon Arase has ordered Command Commissioners of Police nationwide to improve and and provide water-tight security during and after the celebrations mostly at place of worships.

While congratulating Muslim faithfuls as they come closer to the end of their Ramadan fast, Inspector-General of Police, Solomon Arase, urged Nigerians to maintain utmost vigilance
IGP Arase in a statement signed by the Police Public Relation Officer, Force Headquarters, Emmanuel Ojukwu, gave an order that special attention be paid to places of worship, critical public places and other vulnerable points susceptible to violent attack.
While congratulating Muslim faithfuls as they come closer to the end of their Ramadan fast, the IGP urged Nigerians to maintain utmost vigilance and to continue to support the Police and provide useful information towards preventing and uncovering crimes and their perpetrators.
