Bishop recounts escape from potential plane crash
Oyedepo did not disclose where he had been heading to or returning from but a source disclosed to Punch that he may have been on his way back from London.

He shared the testimony during the ‘Breakthrough Service’ which took place at the church’s world headquarters in Ota, Ogun State and was broadcast to all the zonal centres of the church in Ota and Lagos.
According to his account, the aircraft reportedly plunged into crisis mid-air, but “God took control and landed the plane.”

He said: “There was a mid-air crisis, there was serious turbulence, but there was no apprehension. Jesus took control. He landed the plane safely. And we were just celebrating the faithfulness of God.”
