Will OAP ever start his own church?
Here is what OAP said when we asked if he would ever open a church.
His bold behaviour has caused many to wonder if the On-Air Personality should start a church at some point.
As one of our readers put it, “Open your church and do the needful for people to see and follow. Thanks.”
Pulse Religion put the question to him in an exclusive interview. His response is quite interesting.
He admitted that the idea has crossed his mind saying, “I have been interested. I sleep and dream every day of drawing people to Christ."
The OAP quickly added, “Not to what they are selling as Christ in their event centres. Because the church is not in a building, the Bible is so clear. If you read the Book of Acts, chapter 7, all the way down from 44, it says that the tabernacle was with them in the wilderness. It was taken captive, regained by David, who saw favour in the eye of the Lord and wanted to build God a tabernacle but God said no, it was Solomon that built it."
He continued in the same vein saying, “But God does not live in buildings, built by human hands. If you go again to Acts 17: 22-24, when Paul was speaking to the Men in the Athens. He said, 'I can see you guys are very religious, you have temples everywhere, you have altars, you even have an altar dedicated to the God who you don't know and it is that same God I am here to talk to you about and he proceeded to say that God doesn't live in temples built by human hands and He is not served by human hands.”
This is why Daddy Freeze says that he does not necessarily need a church for his mission.
In his words, “My mission on earth is to remove people from the temple and put them in the body. When Jesus died, the temple was wrecked and when he resurrected, the temple resurrected with Him so there is no need for a building or event centres we only need communion.”
The OAP ended the interview with his favourite subject, tithing.
As usual, he urged people to give to the others rather than their preachers, who are unable to giving them bread and wine like Melchizedek did to Abraham. (See Genesis 14:18)
Daddy Freeze’s campaign against paying of tithes and the oppression of Christians is called #free the sheeple movement.
