Twitter blows up as rapper disses Cassper Nyovest on new song 'Composure'

The song titled ‘Composure’, finds AKA rekindling the beef with Cassper Nyovest while subtly touching base with other fellow South African rappers, namely, Anatii, Ricky Rik and Okmalumkoolkat.

Yesterday, AKA took his beef with Cassper Nyovest to a new dimension by releasing a diss track targeted at his fellow rapper and Anatii.

Both rappers have had extensive episodes of bad blood between them, with their feud reaching its highest point when AKA slapped Cassper Nyovest in a night club. Cassper has since moved on from the event, choosing not to retaliate. But the new diss track from AKA, might just change that.

The song titled ‘Composure’, finds AKA rekindling the beef with Cassper Nyovest while subtly touching base with other fellow South African rappers, namely, Anatii, Ricky Rik and Okmalumkoolkat. AKA also touches on his breakup with DJ Zinhle. The track was leaked by DJ Milkshake via his Soundcloud account on September 9, and then removed the same day. This came as a surprise as the track was rumored to only be released on Friday (11 September).

Some lines from the song that are worth a mention include:

  • "That's the problem with you new school cats - you took your whole style from Malumkoolkat."
