30 Feared Dead In Blast

A resident of the Azare, where the explosion occurred, stated that he saw at least 30 corpses after a female suicide bomber blew herself up in Kasuwar Jagwal, a cellphone market.

The suicide bombing which occurred in Bauchi State yesterday, November 16, might have claimed up to 30 lives, reports say.

The woman reportedly hid the bomb under her dress and detonated it just as the market was about to close.

The Sunday evening explosion, which is being blamed on Boko Haram, is said to have also left 65 people injured, all of whom are supposedly receiving treatment at the Azare Federal Medical Centre.

Many of the victims are believed to be women who traded in mobile phones and accessories in the market.
