21 names sent to senate instead of 36

It was gathered that the President intends to send others very early on Tuesday, October 6 before plenary session.

 

Following the eventual submission of the much anticipated ministerial list to the senate on Wednesday, September 30, Vanguard has obtained that President Muhammadu Buhari only had 21 names on the list instead of 36.

At 4.59 pm, the incomplete list was presented to the Senate President Bukola Saraki by the Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari who was accompanied by the Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly Matters, Senator Ita Enang.

It was gathered that the President intends to send other names very early on Tuesday, October 6 before plenary session.

However,  ministerial list is traditionally received by the Office of the Senate President from the Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly Matter through the registry; as against what played out earlier today.
