The All Progressives Congress (APC) has a new spokesman, and his name is Bolaji Abdullahi.

Abdullahi, a former Minister of Youths and Sports, has been appointed to serve as the APC’s National Publicity Secretary.

This was confirmed by Special Assistant to Senate President, Bukola Saraki on New Media, Bamikole Omishore via Twitter.

“A well-deserved congratulations to Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi as the new publicity secretary to APC,” Omishore wrote.

Earlier reports had it that Abdullahi’s appointment would be ratified by the APC’s leadership during a mini convention at Chelsea Hotel in Abuja on Thursday, December 1.

Abdullahi replaces former occupant Lai Mohammed who is now the Minister of Information and Culture.

The new APC spokesman was chosen instead of deputy National Publicity Secretary, Timi Frank who laid claim to the position and attacked Chairman, John Oyegun.

Frank is currently on suspension and might eventually be expelled from the party.
