PDP candidate, Sekibo leading with wide margin in 6 Local Govts

Sekibo is leading with a total of 77,691 votes, while Uchendu is trailing at a distance with  27,754.

According to The Cable, Sekibo is leading with a total of 77,691 votes, while Uchendu is trailing at a distance with  27,754.

This leaves a wide margin of 49,937 between the two candidates.

The results of Emouha and Ikwerre Local Government areas are still being expected as at press time.

The court of appeal sitting in Abuja had sacked Sekibo late last year and ordered a fresh election, but the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) could not conclude rerun election as a result of widespread violence.
