Party shifts BoT meeting as Tinubu, Atiku battle for Chairmanship

The APC National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, reportedly confirmed the postponement.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has shifted its Board of Trustees (BoT) meeting to next week to enable President Muhammadu Buhari participate.

According to Daily Trust, the APC National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, confirmed the postponement.

With former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed, Tinubu said to be vying for the position of the party's BoT Chairmanship, members are expected to elect a candidate and also the Secretary of the Board at the meeting.

However, as earlier announced by Oyegun, the party's National Caucus meeting will still hold on Tuesday March 22, 2016.

Also, the meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC), which is the party’s highest decision making organ, will hold on Thursday, March 24, 2016.
