Ambode hails Governor elect on election victory

The Lagos state Governor also thanked the people of Ondo for their peaceful conduct during the election.

The Governor elect won the Ondo governorship election after garnering a total of 244,842 votes.

Ambode also called on Akeredolu to work towards uniting and building up the South-West zone through economic transformation.

The Lagos state Governor also thanked the people of Ondo for their peaceful conduct during the election on November 26, 2016.

According to Punch, Ambode called on those who are aggrieved to register their grievances the right way and not to take laws into their own hands.

The Governor also congratulated the All Progressives Congress (APC), President Muhammadu Buhari and all Ondo indigenes for the outcome of the election.

Rotimi Akeredolu was declared winner of the November 26, 2016 Ondo governorship poll by Prof. Abdul-Ganiyu Ambali, the Chief Returning Officer in the election.
