1. NISSI – FAMILIAR
Nissi Ogulu is here to stay. Her latest song Familiar, a track produced by Chopstix is a mix of afro pop and funk following her 2016 Fela-esque song Pay Attention.
In Familiar, Nissi hints on getting away from negativity, frustration and being taken advantage of. The song tells on a need for change and focus on positive things.

On Jay-Z's very controversial song off his 4:44 album, "The Story Of OJ", Maka interpretes the song in her own way with the title, 'Boxed In'.
She talks about black pride and the need to change the narrative of the way her people are commonly viewed around the world.
4. TIMI SAURSE - 'TANGERINE'
Timilehin ‘Timi Saurse‘ Ayegbokiki is an artiste from Lagos, Nigeria.‘Tangerine‘, his debut single has an unlikely origin. The soulful ballad was written in a strip club as the artiste entertained liquor-mediated thoughts of his short-time lady friend.A co-production by Timi Saurse and Ozedikus, its low-tempo instrumental is as hypnotic as the movements that inspired it.
5. SYKO - 'WHEN I RISE' FT BOOGEY
Four years after his debut project "Yabaleft Fixtape", Syko returns with 'When I rise', another rap record where he teams up with heavy weight lyricist and headies nominee Boogey.

Off his sophomore project “<insert project name\>,” AYLO comes through with this record featuring amaarae.
8. TRAPLANTA RECORDS - 'KISS+TELL' FT DNDSECTION, KA$H, FOLABI XANNY
You know that sound popular with ATL rappers? Traplanta Records trio of dndSection, KA$H & Folabi Xanny are giving us just that. With sounds similar to that of Quavo of Migos. Kiss + Tell, produced by coldboibryce, is more of a keep your business under wraps song.
9. DJ TIZ - 'CASTED' FT DAMI ONIRU, ODUNSI (THE ENGINE)
UK based DJ Tiz has released a fine collaboration effort featuring rising singers Dami Oniru and Odunsi 'The engine', titled 'Casted'.
The song is a pop-culture relatable storyline about a two-timing guy playing the ladies on a low, and eventually getting caught.
10. WANI - 'INSTAMAN'
Wani 's fusion blend of Western influences and Yoruba come good on 'Instaman'.
