In a chat with Pulse Nigeria at the just concluded AFRIFF 2015, Lami Phillips talks importance of music in film, and choosing a script for her next Nollywood film.

According to her, music plays a huge role in a film.
"The music kind of detects how you feel in that particular scene. A really difficult part of editing a movie is deciding what music goes at what part of the movie, or what part of the picture."
"Even in musicals, even on stage productions, music plays a huge role," she said.
Speaking on acting, the singer who already featured in two stage plays this year said;
"I'm looking through scripts to decide what next. I need to make sure it's a very good one. You don't want to be the person in that film where they say "but why, should've just continued singing honey."
The fifth edition of the undefined, on Sunday, November 8, 2015, at the Genesis Deluxe Cinemas, The Palms Shopping Mall, Lekki.
The festival which kicked off with the premiere of the movie "Mediterranea," a film by Jonas Carpignano, closed on Friday 13, 2014, with Genevieve Nnaji's much anticipated movie "Road to Yesterday."
