She's clearly angry at the Nigerian mentality on marriage especially her constantly coming under attack after leaving her estranged husband Maje Ayida over infidelity issues.

Huffington shared a tweet yesterday on "Why we should give a shit about even the smallest instances of sexism?"

Makinwa replied with a series of tweets. "The marriage conversation is one every female from 26 upwards cannot avoid. It's like "remember Uche, what Uche? After they say Tall/short, what school she went, they have to add marriage somewhere.The worst is if the person hasn't married and she's above 30. It's like eh ya, God will do it," she wrote.

"They don't care if u found the cure to a deadly disease, if u have 4 degrees, if u are saved spiritually.. All that matters is marriage."

The Rhythm 93.7FM radio presenters marriage to 18-months-old marriage to her former hubby, Maje Ayida ended when the latter impregnated his former girlfriend, Anita Solomon.
